Making the decision to hire a coach to manage your training represents a certain kind of commitment to treating your training like a professional. There's getting your regular exercise to stay fit, lose some weight, and build general strength... and then theres dialing in all of the variables to see what you can really do. There's nothing at all wrong with the former, and we wholeheartedly encourage it , but we also know there's also certain type of person looking to do more and push their limits. If you work with us, you will get a professional coach dedicated to overseeing your training inside the gym and all of the variables outside the gym that can affect your performance. We always create 100% personalized training protocols for every individual we coach. Our programs are designed for you to get the absolute most out of what you're able to put in. The reality is we can only coach so many people, so we are looking to work with individuals who are truly dedicated to maximizing their performance and consistently make training a priority.
Powerlifting and Beyond
A majority of our athletes are competitive powerlifters, but we also coach for strength & conditioning performance for specific sports and activities, including explosive & plyometric training, cardiovascular endurance, and more. We focus on what you focus on.

How it Works: Coaching vs. Personal Training
If you think you might be interested in coaching, fill out our application above . You aren't committing yourself to anything yet and aren't necessarily guaranteed a spot right away depending on our current roster. The application is a way to gather some initial information to start the process. From there, we will contact you to get into more detail about what you are looking for and talk you through our coaching methods and what to expect.
Coaching differs from Personal Training in a few key ways. You'll completing the individual training sessions on your own and collaborating with your coach separately rather than having the 1:1 hands on instruction of Personal Training. You don't need to be "strong enough" or "experienced enough" to get a coach, but there is a baseline level of comfortability with exercise technique, terminology, and execution required to get the most of what coaching has to offer. Personal training is primarily for real-time instruction at the individual session and exercise level. Coaching is more broadly focused on structuring overall training plan and managing all of the details that go into it. From the short term decisions of exercises, sets, reps, loads, etc, to the long term arc of your training and performance as a whole. As your coach, we manage and adjust all of your training, but we're also there for you every step of the way to provide the support you need, answer questions, give relevent feedback at the right times, and teach you how to be your best.
